The DON'T FREAK OUT Method of Behaviour Management!

Supporting positive behaviour in children and teens with Down syndrome is not easy.

Barb will look at how the brain of an individual with Down syndrome works, why those differences affect behaviour and how to address these problems using the “Don’t Freak Out Method of Behaviour Management.”

Barb’s approach capitalizes on the strengths of people with Down syndrome in a manner in which reduces anxiety, strengthens relationships and assists everyone in sharpening their skills when dealing with a complex child.
Participants will be given handouts and step by step instructions to manage behaviours.
You don't want to miss this session!
